Something a bit sassy...

Hello and happy Friday!  Gayle here this week with a set of stamps by IndigoBlu called 'Sewing Mends The Soul' - I was loving the corset with this set so thought I'd make a feature out of it :)

The tags are inked with mustard seed, spiced marmalade, fired brick, worn lipstick and walnut stain Distress Ink, and some picket fence Distress Stain around the edges.  The background stamps are Tim Holtz script and harlequin pattern, with the main Indigoblu stamps in black Archival with some white highlighter pen.  Plus some Tim Holtz book corners of course :)
I felt that the big corset in the Indigoblu set needed to be a main feature, so suspended it between the two tags from a piece of string with some mini pegs.
The lady is layered, with the full stamp on the background tag followed by a cutout of the lady on manila card and a coloured cutout of the corset on the top (with some gold Stickles added!)
The sewing machine is a Tando Creative chipboard diecut, to which I added some paint, Stickles and thread; thought this went perfectly with the sentiment and the corset!

Hope you enjoyed your visit!  You can get everything I used at Wendy's lovely Stamp Attic :)

Happy weekend!

Te moment I saw the big corset I thought it was a fabric patch, it looks amazing with all the texture you gave it, love how it is hanging between the two tags. Fabulous! =Di
